"Delčia" means "half-moon" in Lithuanian and her half-and-half stitching was inspired by our Baltic pagan roots and the changing cycles of the moon. In pagan culture, people are big believers in the moon's energy and staying in touch with it. Delčia finds that perfect balance between the two extremes of the young moon and the full moon. Great for running across empty beaches or through pine forests, she’s 100% cotton, Oeko-tex certified and promises to keep you cozy-girl cool.

100% Fair Trade cotton.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

The products we've selected are made to be worn —beautifully and often, year after year. To help them last, follow these general guidelines:

  • While our pieces are crafted to be durable, they’ll appreciate a gentle touch.
  • Most items can be spot cleaned with a soft cloth, mild/wool detergent and warm water. Avoid harsh abrasives or prolonged soaking unless otherwise noted.
  • Always check the individual product care labels
  • Avoid sudden changes in temperature (like straight from warm to cold water) to prevent thermal shock.
  • Always store knits folded. Avoid hanging pants on hanger clips long term.

About the brand

The Knotty Ones are a knitwear label founded by three best friends–Akvilė, Danutė and Sandra–in Lithuania, where they grew up. Their garments are made from 100% cruelty free natural yarns and OEKO-TEX non-toxic certified dyes. Their designs celebrate traditional Lithuanian pagan mythology, which is embodied and recontextualized through the lens of contemporary style.

The Knotty Ones’ empower local Lithuanian women from marginalised areas, providing them with financial security and new opportunities. Each of their knitters are paid fairly and employed within safe working conditions. You can read more about individual craftswomen and donate directly to them through The Knotty Ones’ website.
