Lothlorian
Based in Pukekohe which is 40km south of Auckland, New Zealand, Lothlorian have been producing knitwear since 1991 & spinning yarn since 1943! We especially love them for their use of Possum wool.
Possums are a pest and introduced species to New Zealand, and currently under a culling program to curb the catastrophic ecological damage they cause. Lothlorian supports such programs by repurposing the by-product – possum wool – in their designs. The result is a garment that is incredibly warm, and soft and delicate to touch.
