Guided by the adage “less is more” the RMIT University, Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours) Alumni, Georgie Allen and Isabella Demartini champion the principles of slow fashion. Their contemporary fashion label AND.BEAR—named after Georgie’s beloved Dalmation, Bear—sets out to instill confidence and empower women through a celebration of femininity. Each piece is designed with intention, focusing on durability and longevity rather than chasing trends. Having spent the last 6 years hand pleating and constructing each garment themselves, AND.BEAR have begun working with a third party manufacturing team to help keep up with the demand for their growing business.
