EMU Australia
EMU was founded in 1948 (under the name Jacksons Tannery) nearby in south Geelong, where their HQ remains today. They were one of the first producers of sheepskin boots, which were mainly sold to local and visiting surfers to help cope with the cold southern coastal winters.
After being renamed as EMU Australia in mid-90s, today, EMU is a globally recognised and adored brand. Irrespective of their increased popularity, EMU have stayed true to their original values, which align with sustainable and slow fashion practices. EMU shoes & slippers are made from natural materials such as Australian Sheepskin, Merino wool and high quality natural leathers. Each step of the design process is tested to ensure every single EMU product provides comfort, durability and style.
