Gentle Threads
We are Gentle Threads, both the store and the label. Natural fibres are our speciality and we love experimenting with style, fabrics & yarn composition to produce the best looking and feeling clothing. We’re very particular with our supply chain, so you can trust Gentle Threads garments are made fairly and sustainably to the highest quality.
Our co-founder and head of production & design, Gracie grew up in Geelong before completing their Bachelor of Fashion (Honours) in design at RMIT in 2019. Gracie’s passion extends beyond fashion, bleeding into everything artistic and creative. They’re innovative with a strong appreciation for traditional crafts and a deep sense of responsibility for protecting and nurturing the environment and their community; both locally and globally.
Gentle Threads at its core, is about relentlessly challenging ourselves, those around us and the establishments we’re all a part of to enable a better future for us all.
