The Knotty Ones

The Knotty Ones are a knitwear label founded by three best friends –Akvilė, Danutė and Sandra –in Lithuania, where they grew up. Their garments are made from 100% cruelty free natural yarns and OEKO-TEX non-toxic certified dyes. Their designs celebrate traditional Lithuanian pagan mythology, which is embodied and re-contextualised through the lens of contemporary style.

 

The Knotty Ones’ empower local Lithuanian women from marginalised areas, providing them with financial security and new opportunities.
