ROMA Wool
ROMA Wool
The ROMA wool is a house slipper nurturing the best of Portuguese sustainability. The upper is wool from sheep grazing in the Manteigas mountain region of Portugal. The recycled, confetti natural rubber sole allows you to use them inside and out of your home. And finally, the hidden gem, the anti-microbial Carbon Step™ footbed, contours the anatomy of your foot to provide maximum support.
Want to be a part of history? The ROMA Wool slippers are a collaboration with the Burel Factory, a wool factory in the Portuguese village of Manteigas, located in the Serra da Estrela Mountain range. A place that combines generations of knowledge, skill and innovation. A living museum operating looms and ancient machines, weavers of trends and traditions, to transform them into unique and timeless pieces.
Burel Factory arose from the need to save an ancestral heritage. To keep it alive and extend its history that comes from far away. To promote the Serra da Estrela region, its people, its culture. To spread Portuguese art responsibly. And to present an authentic product consciously, respecting nature and the mountain that gave us the origin and knowledge.
VIBAe shoes should feel snug at first and there is no need to leave extra free space at the end. The size is correct when the length of your foot in cm is between our measurement boundaries shown before each EU size.
The easiest way to put your VIBAe shoe into your feet is against the floor, push your foot all the way to the end, and only then bring up the heel. Once you start wearing the VIBAe shoe they will stretch about half a size and the more you wear them the better they get.

Care Instructions
If necessary, you can wash your slippers. Pull out the insoles and put your ROMA Wool slip-ons into a delicates bag and toss them in the washing machine – gentle cycle with cold water (30°C) with your favourite mild detergent. When they are done, shake off any excess water and let them air dry (don’t dry them in direct sunlight). Don’t put them in the dryer. And don’t worry, they will return to their original shape in no time.
